HINO 4.0-LITRE COMMON-RAIL DIESEL
Hino’s N04C turbo-diesel engine offers a class-leading combination of power and torque. The 4.0-litre engine is equipped with a common-rail fuel injection system and variable geometry turbo technology to achieve lower emissions and uncompromised power and fuel efficiency.
Meeting both strict Euro 5 and Enhanced Environmentally-Friendly Vehicle (EEV) emissions standards (without needing Ad Blue), the new model’s gains in power, torque and fuel efficiency have been achieved through careful attention to engine design, turbocharger pressures and the high-pressure (common-rail) electronic fuel injection.
INTERIOR COMFORT
Hino's latest 300 Series light duty truck range has been completely ergonomically redesigned outside and inside to provide increased comfort for driver and passengers. It also has Hino's state-of-the-art multimedia unit which features a large 6.1-inch high-definition touch-screen, DAB+ digital and conventional AM/FM radio receivers, CD and DVD player, USB and SD input, and is Bluetooth™ enabled
The new Hino 300 Series cabin has been equipped with clear-to-read instruments and easy-to-reach controls and switchgear and the 300 Series wide cab models are fitted with an ergonomically designed fully-adjustable driver's seat for maximum comfort
TRANSMISSIONS
Hino 300 Series offers the widest choice of transmissions of any truck in the light-duty class. Customers can chose from manual, fully automatic or automated manual transmission (AMT) options. Hino 300 Series diesel models are available with either a five-speed or six-speed manual transmission. Hino is the only Japanese truck manufacturer to offer a fully automatic six speed transmission in the Australian light-duty truck market. The Hino 300 Series Hybrid models are also equipped with Hino's ProShift 5 Automated Manual Transmission (AMT).
SAFETY
With a features list including Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), dual SRS airbags, four-wheel ventilated disc brakes, electronic brake force distribution (EBD), anti-lock braking (ABS) and front under-run protection (FUPS), you can see why the award-winning Hino 300 Series is the safest light duty truck ever sold in Australia. All Hino 300 Series variants are equipped with dual front SRS airbags as standard equipment.
The new Hino 300 Series is the first light duty truck in Australia to include life-saving Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) as standard equipment. It also sets the standard for braking in the light duty truck class, with four-wheel ventilated disc brakes and ABS standard across the range.
